This is an app that know what it wants to do and dont try to be everything as other apps out there. The Mac version will be a very good addition! I recommend it!

This could be the best note taking app for iOS if it were not for the lack of a Mac or a web app with synced notes. It fortunately has a native share sheet, which at least allows the user to get stuff out of it. Getting stuff back in, however… Development seems to have ceased since the one developer left for Omnigroup and I’d therefore look elsewhere for a note-taking app. It’s all a shame because Vesper is indeed beautiful.
Many note taking apps are more feature rich than vesper, but are slow on start and dont behave that snappy as vesper does. I really like the tagging. It allows easy collection building. In my case collecting design related things. I miss some sort if cloud sync of my notes or even deleting some for ever. Currently vesper would grow for ever. :) I hope there will be more features in the future. :)
Very nice app. Time stamp for notes would be great though.
Best Notes-App on iOS
Without doubt the best notes app in the AppStore! Combines simplicity, smooth features and style!
ICloud Sync is still missing. No need for another account!
I love the minimalistic design and the fast and snappy feel. The hashtag organization is very helpful and really good to work with. THE ONLY THING I WOULD LOVE TO SEE IS THE ABILITY TO ADD MORE PICTURES THAN JUST ONE.... Please add more fonts!
Good Update with nice new iPad Support.
Then it would be a perfect companion
Ill give 5 stars when the Mac version arrives. That would be the perfect Notes replacement. On top of the good functionality, I love the pleasing font and the great attention to visual details. Highly recommended!
The best designed notes app by far; sadly theres still no way to see and edit your notes on a Mac.
No independent sync option like webDAV. i dont support us based microsoft azure sync sorry.
With iPad support this app perfectly fits into my daily work. Nice design and syncing works like a charm.
My favourite note taking app. What a nice surprise to see the native iPad version appearing when opening the app. Sync is at least a little bit encrypted — according to the very human readable privacy policy. Wishlist: - Raise the price, so that you can keep supporting the app. - Add a trash can, so that deletions can be undone. - Add nothing else. - Release Vesper for Mac.
Its an almost perfect App for confidential notes that should be kept out of any cloud. The only thing that annoys me is the awkward behavior when trying to select a small part of text for editing/copying within a longer note that exceeds one visible page – its almost impossible to adjust the blue selection marks. On every trial, the page wildly scrolls up and down, far too fast to react, thus making a precise adjustment of the text selection impossible. A bug that should be fixed soon. Then, everything would be perfect …

Why is this app still featured by the App Store? Its been dead for a long time! Dont buy.
As a long-time user of the Mac catch-all bucket Yojimbo, I have to say I quite like this App, despite (or because of) its lack of features and simplicity. Its all about the subtle attention to detail and what makes a very basic Note App really *pleasureable* to use. Beautiful Font choice, deliciously subtle animations, the List Layout view compels you to add Photos to Notes just because they look so good (say attaching a photo to a Quote, or a Recipe, or your weekend pick at the races…). Simple functionality that no-one does nearly as beautifully. Im looking at you Evernote. Still, for $5, Im expecting some updates in the near-term: * Text Expander support would really enable it to maintain its simplicity while being much more functional as a Notes App, * Improved Export for me is more important than Sync (although I wouldnt complain!). Right now Copying/Sharing/Emailing a Note doesnt include Tag information, which is could be as simple as appending Note Text with a Hashtag. * Sending a Note as a Message doesnt seem to include attached Photos, also a bit of a bummer, but it works great with Email (again, minus any Tag information). * Landscape mode for my giant thumbs. The whole UI is designed for portrait I realize, particularly the Photo-layout. All these critics aside, I have total, fanatical faith in QBranch - theyve set themselves up as Appstore Superheroes, and that comes with matching (& probably unfair) expectations from their Legion of fans who have already bought this App. I suspect theyll add landscape-view for the iPhone only after theyve figured out how theyd like to design an iPad version of Vesper and really start competing with Grubers old-boss with a next-generation Yojimbo type App. Considering how burnt out Rich Siegel must be trying to Add iCloud support for it, maybe hed consider simply selling it to QBranch?
The thing about Vesper isnt that it has every feature you can imagine (it doesnt) or that it connects to the outside world via every possible media (in fact its totally self-contained right now) or even particularly cheap ($4.99 is probably the most Ive spent on an iPhone app). The thing is that it is perfectly designed and constructed. These guys really sweated every pixel, and it shows. Having used Vesper for a couple of weeks, I rather feel they see Vespers development as an iterative process: they know where they are headed, and, rather like Apple iterates iOS, they know they cant do it all in one go. If Im right (and with this first iteration so beguiling), the end product will be very special indeed.
