Vesper is a simple and elegant tool for collecting notes, ideas, things to do — anything you want to remember. Organize your notes whatever way comes naturally to you, without complications. Vespers focus is on how it feels to use.

• Use tags to group related notes.

• Attach photos.

• Drag and drop notes to reorder them — move important ones up, other ones down.

• Swipe a note to send it to the archive. Out of sight, but remembered forever.

• Keep notes backed up with Vesper Sync.

Pros and cons of Vesper app for iPhone and iPad

Vesper app good for

As some of you may know, Q Branch, the company that created this wonderful app is shutting it down. Its really sad to hear it go. I only started using this app recently but heard so many good things about it in various Apple-related podcasts, notably The Talk Show by John Gruber (host of the show and founder/co-founder of Vesper). Glad I managed to get the app before they pull it off of the App Store on 15th September. Good bye Vesper.
I like everything about this app and I have used it daily since its launch. Ill continue to use it until it no longer works...
Elegant design and didnt include anything that wasnt necessary. Enjoyed taking notes in this app, used everyday.
Good app that I used quite often. Elegant interface and easy to use, it ultimately fell short by not having a Mac version and then being beaten to that punch by Apple itself and its Notes program. Q Branch should be proud of their work. Satisfied customer.
Great design, but vertical typing is annoying with my big fingers. Add the horizontal flip and I give you five stars :)
Gorgeous notes app. Very easy to use, quick and simple. Ive never used a notes app that much since Vesper. Lacks some features, but that is maybe the reason I use it so much. Straight to the point. Keeping it short and organized. Must have

Some bad moments

The developer obviously abandoned this project. It used to be promising. Now its just very disappointing.
Since the improvement of Apples very own Notes app, there is no reason to use this app: it does nothing better and is missing a number of features that Notes has. It had lots of potential, had the prominent backing of John Gruber, but now it is just a shell of an app.
Una delle app migliori (e più care) chiude lasciando chi la usa avpiedi . Male e scorretto . Still something missing, what if I loose my phone ? How can I retrieve my travel notes? What if I wish to insert 2pictures in one single note? Or perhaps merge two notes together? And sharing from Safari? Im not looking for a bloated app still some basic functions should be there. I keep it and wait for updates.
Its shameful that they havent pulled this app from the store. Very disappointed in these guys. Totally abandoned, yet still charging $9.99 for an app that doesnt connect to anything on your Mac or the web and is probably going to become totally unusable in the next iOS upgrade. There are free apps that are more useful, and there are MANY paid apps that execute far better (and are still nicely designed) for the same or less $.
This notes app has a straightforward tagging system, great aesthetics, and great syncing. It has a barebones feature set, but thats not a bad thing, necessarily. It also features an absence of any kind of notes export mechanism, a completely ignored support email address, and a lack of any UI niceties afforded by larger-than-phone-sized displays, in the case of the iPad apps. It appears to be abandoned.
Wow, $10 for abominable. Simple note is free, not to mention 10 times better. Apparently the developers dont care, which is fine, because nobody anymore cares about this app
