The thing about Vesper isnt that it has every feature you can imagine (it doesnt) or that it connects to the outside world via every possible media (in fact its totally self-contained right now) or even particularly cheap ($4.99 is probably the most Ive spent on an iPhone app). The thing is that it is perfectly designed and constructed. These guys really sweated every pixel, and it shows. Having used Vesper for a couple of weeks, I rather feel they see Vespers development as an iterative process: they know where they are headed, and, rather like Apple iterates iOS, they know they cant do it all in one go. If Im right (and with this first iteration so beguiling), the end product will be very special indeed.
