If I remember correctly the original pitch for Vesper was based on quality and longevity - software written by people with exacting standards and at a price point to match.

Gruber says hell write a post-mortem or "eulogy," and I hope it has a lengthy mea culpa. If you hold others to high standards, they will demand contrition when you fail them yourself.
